No matter where you live or how you live, there’s a way for you to take action and fight for a cleaner, plastic free planet.
The Boomerang Alliance and our allied organisations are pushing for smarter waste policies and a world free from single-use plastics. As a volunteer, you’ll join campaigns that protect communities and hold polluters accountable. Whether it’s meeting your local MP, running community awareness events, or volunteering your skills, there’s a role for you to make a real impact.
What You’ll Need
- Share our mission. You’re passionate about reducing waste, tackling plastic pollution, and protecting communities.
- Legal eligibility. You must be able to volunteer legally in Australia. If you’re visiting from overseas, this means holding the appropriate visa. Check government resources for guidance.
- Are you able to commit? We ask volunteers to make a good-faith commitment to the time and responsibilities of their role.
- Age requirements. Some activities may have minimum age limits, but many opportunities, like community events, are open to all ages.
- Location. You need to be living in Australia.
